Beautiful blue sapphire

A gift for a dear friend and teacher.

Just finished this 23ct amethyst for my daughters birthday present. I've decided to make it a tradition to cut each person in my family a gem on their birthday, so by the time they are older they will have quite a collection and my memory can live in them.

Cut for my sil.
